If you are anything like me, the holiday season and the new year gave you several projects: a) an expanded waistline to trim down before spring/summer 2006 fashion becomes a reality and b) the hope of further career development. Whether you have a career already, or are in your final year at high school, it could be time to start that fashion career you've always dreamed of. First you need to find the right fashion course.

New Fashion Careers Aren't Just for the Celebrities

Gwen Stefani, P Diddy and now Anastacia - with the number of celebrities embarking on fashion careers these days, you'd be forgiven for thinking it's easy. The truth is, ordinary people embarking on fashion careers need a great eye for fashion, the drive to work hard, and a fashion course to back up their talent. Now is the time to start researching which fashion career you'd like to move into. There are several options:
  • Fashion design careers
  • Dressmaking careers
  • Fashion merchandising careers
  • Fashion marketing careers
  • Fashion buying and retail careers
  • Fashion modeling careers
