Today's fashion world is moving as fast as ever with the first of the fall/winter 2006/07 male clothing collections revealed in December during fashion week in Milan. Elegance was a key focus, spearheaded by designer Roberto Cavalli.

Roberto Cavalli - Clothing Design Loved by Men and Women

Roberto Cavalli is one of today's fashion success stories. Kate Moss's new Cavalli ads are turning heads, and his new best friend Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham was one of the women providing eye candy at the unveiling of his new clothing design collection in Milan.

Cavalli's collection did not disappoint. With a theme of elegance and opulence, his men wore clothing designed with more that a little inspiration from Dorian Grey.

Today's Men Are More Interested in Fashions than Ever Before

Another successful clothing designer revealing elegant and aristocratic new male collections was Burberry's Christopher Bailey. The debut of Raf Simons clothing designs for Jil Sanders also caused a stir, with simple but stylish oversized jackets and stark shirts a particular hit.

The arrival of a string of smart male fashion icons in the form of movie stars such as Jake Gyllenthal, and the sight of a bevy of besuited, gorgeous men at the Golden Globes reminds us how much the elegance stakes have risen in today's male fashion world. I for one applaud it - plenty more eye candy for us girls for a change.
