I have noticed lately that many clothing stores for children are carrying some rather risqué tems. Many of which I could not picture putting a daughter of mine in because of not wanting to her to be dressed as if she were going out on the town. I recently found an article discussing just that. An eleven year-old girl by the name of Ella Gunderson was able to convince Nordstrom to carry modest clothing that would be age appropriate for children. She wrote a letter expressing her thoughts on the matter and she put on a fashion show, along with 37 other girls, wearing the type of clothing that she would like to see. Nordstrom replied to her by saying that they would begin offering a greater variety of clothing. This request has also been made by many parents and on June 5, it was finally granted.
