Known for being innovative in the fashion world, it's no wonder so many people want fashion jobs in London and New York. Now mobile fashion outlets in both cities brings a whole new meaning to the term "street fashion." After the sad demise of the London fashion bus in 2004, other mobile fashion outlets have started in New York and look set to hit the streets of London again.
Street fashion is at the forefront right now and fashion buses in London and New York have given it a whole new meaning.

The Laden Showroom, Brick Lane, London bills itself as "The UK's Leading Fashion Store featuring young designers." In typically eccentric London style, it was also ranked "the 86th nicest thing in London" in September 2005. Named for Barry Laden, it is just one example of the variety of fashion designing jobs in London right now, and the individuality that lies at the heart of true fashion.
Sadly, the London Fashion Bus, launched by Barry Laden in 2003, was forced to close down after its UK tour because of costs. Lovers of Laden fashion without jobs in London must now use the Internet, or get the bus. However, rumor has it that companies such as Levi will soon be launching more fashion buses -- and jobs -- in London.
Stateside? Fancy a Fashion Job With New York's Caravan?
New York's Caravan is a mobile fashion store launched June, 2005. It may prove to be more successful by staying within New York City. The emphasis is on hot new looks, and buses can be booked for private fashion parties. Fashion lovers who don't have jobs in New York or London will have to use both websites for now. Let's hope more boutique buses follow this fashion trend.
