It's Been A Stella Few Weeks: 3 Careers in Fashion

Late October saw three different Stellas in the fashion news, and three potential careers in fashion. New Zealand's teen magazine Stella sent a 12 year old to review their burgeoning fashion week; Stella Tennant appeared on the cover of Vogue, and Stella McCartney launched her new line at H & M. American InterContinental University prepares you with the knowledge, skills and practical work experience you need to succeed in today's competitive workplace.
Stella Magazine: Fashion Journalism CoursesThe 12 year old girl who won a competition in New Zealand's teen fashion magazine Stella got the chance to view and write about a fashion show first hand. If you are a fashion lover like myself, but find your creative talent lies in the written rather than the graphic, this is the ideal way to carve out a fascinating, and lucrative, career in fashion. There are few online or print publications today that don't have a fashion supplement. Whether taken as a full-time degree or a post graduate fashion course, fashion journalism courses are the best way to get into this area. Stella McCartney's Career in FashionWhile she isn't high on my pity list, Stella McCartney's background has made it difficult for her to justify her talent and her career in fashion. Stella started her career in fashion working for Christian Lacroix at fifteen, and graduated from her fashion design course in 1995. Ten years later, Stella has succeeded on her own terms, while keeping up both breast cancer and animal rights charity work. Early November sees the release of her new line at H & M, and she has recently signed up with a well-known sports company to bring out a more casual line.Stella Tennant: An Example for Today's Fashion ModelsBeautiful, aristocratic, hard-working mother of three Stella Tennant appeared on the cover of November's British Vogue. While modeling is one career in fashion that takes more than a fashion course, I thought she deserved a mention in today's current of fashion model bashing. If you think you've got the raw materials for any of these careers in fashion, you know where to look for help.
